orthosis (LSO) E.g. Chair back brace, Williams brace,
Mac brace, Rigid LSO, Rigid LSO with Hip spica.
Principle:
- - Spinal pathologies requiring some immobilization and offloading.
- - The orthosis reminds the wearer to avoid abrupt motion.
- - Motion control is achieved means of various three-point force systems. Support for thr spine is also by abdominal pressure.
Indication:
- - Spondylolisthesis.
- - Low back pain
- - Spinal stability after surgery.
- - Osteoporosis.
- - Post-operative laminectomy.
- - Post-operative disectomy.
- - Spinal stenosis.
