Lumbosacral orthosis (LSO) E.g. Chair back brace, Williams brace, Mac brace, Rigid LSO, Rigid LSO with Hip spica.

Principle:

  1. -          Spinal pathologies requiring some immobilization and offloading.
  2. -          The orthosis reminds the wearer to avoid abrupt motion.
  3. -          Motion control is achieved means of various three-point force systems. Support for thr spine is also by abdominal pressure.



Indication:

  1. -          Spondylolisthesis.
  2. -          Low back pain
  3. -          Spinal stability after surgery.
  4. -          Osteoporosis.
  5. -          Post-operative laminectomy.
  6. -          Post-operative disectomy.
  7. -          Spinal stenosis.
