Definition:
Nerve conduction velocity (NCV) test is a test of the speed of electrical
signals through a nerve.
Indication:
This test is used to diagnose or damage of nerve or muscle including:

3. Alcoholic
neuropathy
4. Diabetic
neuropathy
5. Nerve
effects of uremia (from kidney failure)
6. Traumatic
injury to a nerve
7. Guillain
Barre syndrome

tunnel syndrome

Brachial plexopathy

Chronic inflammatory polyneuropathy

Nerve dysfunction

General paresis
